Leaving Rochester

...Whew, finally on my way. It's already exciting and exhausting. I finished packing and final work memos at 10:30am this morning. A quick trip to the bank and the post office and Elaine was at my door ready to whisk me off to my plane. Upon arrival at the Rochester Airport, it was a little disconcerting to find out my flight was delayed. However, my spirits were immediately buoyed when I was placed on a flight leaving immediately. Spirits were again dashed when the security person decided to move in slow motion. Not to fear, this flight was delayed as well so I was happily seated in row 5 of a small propeller plane bouncing its way to La Guardia where the weather was bright, sunny and very windy! Oh no....
